How to make LUTs work with any footage?
When applying a LUT, play around with the intensity slider to achieve your desired look. Also fine-tune the contrast, highlights, and vibrance of your video before considering any reduction in the LUT’s intensity. While reducing opacity can sometimes diminish carefully crafted color values. I’ve found setting the opacity between 70-90% alongside contrast and highlight adjustments offers optimal balance.
Similarly, for white balance corrections, address any overly warm or cool tones prior to applying the LUT for a balanced foundation in your colour grading process.
Remember, each clip is unique and may require individual exposure and lighting corrections to complement the LUT effectively.

Absolutely! I frequently enhance my smartphone footage using the free VN app with these LUTs. Simply transfer the LUTs to your phone’s Files app and seamlessly integrate them into your preferred video editing application.
